Hiker’s Guide to the Trails of Dixon Lake and Daley Ranch.

Mallard Trail is a short, 0.18 mile side trail off of Sage that borders the west and south sides of Mallard Pond, the largest of the ponds on Daley Ranch.
The only way to get to the Mallard Trail is off of the Sage Trail. It's also an in-and-out path, so the total distance covered would be 0.36 miles.
The Mallard Trail is an easy stroll; it's virtually level as it follows the pond shoreline from northwest to southwest.

The path offers great opportunities to observe waterfowl on Mallard Pond as well as impressive views down to Middle Pond, which lies to the southwest.
